Perhaps they have trouble breathing easily through them, but clearly they don’t understand their purpose.

@bijouxbroussard I had covid quite badly back in April, I can assure you with covid breathing is much more difficult at times. Thankfully I had oxygen pumped into me and was not put on a ventilator, wonderful NHS.

@Dez580 One of my sisters survived it earlier this year, and I’m glad you did, as well. There are a couple of people I know who hate the masks because they have breathing difficulties, like asthma, but they would be especially vulnerable to complications were they to contract Covid.

@bijouxbroussard my doctor cousin feels having asthma is not an excuse not to wear a paper based mask, and she is a ENT specialist

@Dez580 I’m not arguing—nor do the people of whom I’m speaking. They understand that the temporary discomfort of the masks is much less a concern than the risk of death.
