I Can't Stop Crying

The last 48 hours have been so emotional for me.

First I find out about the riots and the looting and the vandalism and the deaths of people.
Then my fiancé tells me he asked if he could volunteer to help with the riots, since he’s in the National Guard.
Following, finding out that not only was he called to help, but EVERYONE in his squadron was called.
After that, he and I took in a dog that walked up to us from the street. Gave him a bath. Gave him some food and water and decided to keep him.
I traveled back home with my fiancé following me in his truck with the dog. And I had to say good bye to him. Trying to not cry.
Once I made it back home, I was told by my landlords dad (who lives at the house with us) that I had one day to find him a home. Yet the second I got home and my landlords girlfriend saw the dog and told my landlord. I get a rude text. “Not happy about the dog. You need to take it out of the house right now.” As I walked down stairs to go to the bathroom his dad told me I needed to find a place for him ASAP and I told him I was working on it hard. And that I even set up a vet appointment for him to get him shots.
After hours I finally found someone who stepped up to take him in for the meantime while I find a new place to live that will allow me to have a dog.

Now I can’t stop crying. Just so much back to back to back. And idk what to do right now. I know it’ll work out in the end. But fuuuuuck its so much right now.

So you’re upset because of the death of Floyd, and the riots. And on top of that, you’re not gonna see your fiance for awhile because he was called in. Then you got a dog, thought you were going to keep him, only to be told you have to find him a different home.

That’s a lot of new information at once. Geez lol. But you have a good heart, if that means anything. ❤️

Me either. That’s why I’m drinking. I know that it will all work itself out day by day. But still got to cry this one out a bit first before I can see clearly and work on it. @SinlessOnslaught

Really is. Last post I saw that scared me said something about the National Guard being at war with the citizens.
Cause saying something like that will cause angered and clouded people to do dangerous things against them. :(@Luchs

@londonbr1dge it's war against domestic terrorists. Lawful and peaceful people don't steal and burn and victimize others. Protesting and rioting are different. I support the peaceful protesters. I hope the looters get shot.

Take a hot shower and drink a glass of wine, whiskey, beer...and let your self calm down.

That was sweet of you

I hope your fiance stays safe and isn't emotionally damaged by this all, if he does serve

Thank you.
And me to. I’m also worried about the stupid angered people making things dangerous and ending up hurting my fiancé and or his group or anyone really. @SW-User

@londonbr1dge Yep it's emotionally indulgent destruction at this stage, everyone needs to go home and come back with an actual vision for achiening real meaningful change

He's very brave and I'm sure there are many in the communities affected -of all skin colours - grateful that someone is willing to go through all this for them

I’m definitely proud of him. Especially since he originally had volunteered to go. (He was at the time doing food disruption) but he was like “my country is being torn apart. And I’m just packing cabbages. I want to do more” It’s more than I can say I’d do. I just wish people who fight for wanting clarification of the difference between riots and looted and protestors. Fight for the difference between cops and military. They may line up the same and dress similar. But they are not the same at all. @SW-User

The one I have now is such a control freak.
There was fire once time and I had to take my birds that were at my parents house and temporarily take them into my house. And he said I had to keep them in the garage Which is bad for birds. No sunlight, no socializing, and the smell. Then my boyfriend (who I’m now engaged to. Was told to not come into the house anymore due to “covid” but the excuse he used was “he’s in the military so he’s obviously around sick people.” You know what my boyfriend actually was doing? Setting up FMS around CA BEFORE they were being used. He was no more at risk of having or getting COVID as we are going to the store. And now this? Not to mention the little petty shit he’s done to me to. @Coppercoil
