White Entitlement

Why do Whites think they don't owe Blacks anything? Your ancestors enslaved an entire race, took from them, made them work for profit and then handed all that wealth down to you. Now you're gonna just keep that wealth and pretend it's yours?

OK, so this is where you go too far.. I am totally in agreement that black people have it all so much tougher, there's still massive prejudice and discrimination.. BUT that's where you have to grow up and not go spouting shite.
MY country did bad things. Slaver countries did bad things.. sold their own for money.. yes they were exploited but black people were in on it..
My ancestors tho.. they were poor people who barely survived and were slaves themselves, albeit white ones.. history and all that stuff .. important to learn.
AND you have to have enough humility to remember that not all white people are wealthy ..

@HotDad The UK were heavily involved in slavery.. traded in slaves.. yes it was wrong, no one can disagree on that.. BUT we do have to remember it was a relative few who were doing that.. many of the population were poor here .. slaves, domestic servants.. poor, hungry..

I am English, my ancestors were English and French.

The UK was also one of the first to ban slavery and say it was wrong..

And as I say, Slave traders couldn't have done it without the cooperation of black people who were willing to get involved, catch slaves and sell them to slavers.
