White Entitlement

Why do Whites think they don't owe Blacks anything? Your ancestors enslaved an entire race, took from them, made them work for profit and then handed all that wealth down to you. Now you're gonna just keep that wealth and pretend it's yours?

My people owned no slaves and have always been poor... you can't level something that happened over hundreds of years ago you have to make yourself a better person

@helenS I don't get into too many discussions about race it usually comes out badly.
they're obviously wrongs done but money isn't going to fix it and many who have wealth now have worked hard for it. perhaps if you can trace the ancestry from known slave owners who have profited from slavery, perhaps there would be a legal case, but many of course lost their fortunes during the civil war.
