One of my usual not coming into work excuses

I worked with a guy who called in and said he was going to a ball game. The next day he was told that wasn't an acceptable excuse. So after that he told them his malaria was acting up. Who can argue with that!

I can't believe I've never used the "too fat to come in" excuse. I think I'm gonna throw caution to the wind and have bacon wrapped donuts for breakfast.
