@Harriet03 Not really
Degbeme · 70-79, M
@SimplyLogicalDiscipline Our [@Harriet] is a nurse and she isn`t paid enough in my humble opinion. 🤗
@Degbeme must be having health issues
Lol! The former most of the time, just because it makes me feel good about the person I am.

I always work hard and give my best, and my pay reflects that.
SwampFlower · 31-35, F
Honestly, it doesn't pay off to be an overachiever when you're only responsible for a rich person's well-being. They will just use you.

Now my job makes me responsible for people and they deserve my best. There are some careers like that.
@SwampFlower Yes, satisfying careers
ninalanyon · 61-69, T
I was lucky in that for pretty much all my career I worked on things that I believed were good for society and within my competence. So I mostly did my best and the pay was sufficient to not need to worry about it.
@ninalanyon Yes ,you were lucky
I try to do the best job I can, whatever it is. Just the way I was raised.
I made the very unwise assumption this was a universal principle included in most everyone’s version of child rearing. 🙄Boy, did the workforce have news for me.@bijouxbroussard

Most of the time I give more that what I am paid for; sometimes just what I get paid for; sometimes even less than that.

I enjoy doing my best no matter the pay. It's part of what I like about working.
Pay. Minimum wage, minimum effort. My work ethic is incentivized.
Degbeme · 70-79, M
I`m retired. 😁
@Degbeme I know 😁
vetguy1991 · 51-55, M
