Should I accept this job?

I recently graduated Architecture. I want to work in videogames but I don't have the skills for that yet, and I need to earn so I'm turning to applying for architecture jobs.
I was offered one, but it's at a company that manages projects. I would be the bridge between the client and the constructors basically, oversee the construction of the project beside doing the project too.
But I have no practical experience in architecture or construction, so it's scares me to be thrown out there like this. I'm afraid over being out of my depth and messing up.
And this is paid by commission. So I don't know how much I would actually earn a the end of the month or year, nor how soon I would earn since I don't know when I would get my first job...
I also wouldn't get fixed hours, so I'm afraid of ending up working crazy hours.
I do have the option of working with them and working at an architects office at the same time. My interviewer told me most people there do that.
But I'm very unsure if I should accept this or not.
I'm also unsure if it's ok to email my interviewer asking more questions about this. I was so nervous that I didn't manage to ask more at the time...

Just take the job . It will count as experience, remember you don't have to stay at that job forever if it's not for you ...but I think it will help you gain knowledge

take it as a learning experience and you need the experience , jobs like this are scarce

😉Don't let fear be your guide! Though your nerves may be hopping mad, just take some time to ponder your decision while at the same time, keep on looking for other possibilities! Keep in mind that failure is only a learning curb in life and knowing this, just be aware and cautious if you do decide to take the position! Also, look at it as an adventure and not just a job! 😉

He's phoening me on Friday for an answer, so I'm feeling the pressure of time :/ I'm also desparate to move out and get my own place and be in charge of my life, which is why learning this job is by commission dissappointed me so much...

In my opinion if earnings is the need of the hour I would take this job, at least I would have something at hand, now the most importantly I would follow what I would like to do eventually, i.e. videogames in your case.. the construction job would remain only to earn some bucks.. all the best!

I always say: when in doubt, don't. And if you need to earn the commission part doesn't seem very wise. But getting thrown into the deep is often the best way to learn even if it is scary. Sure you can mail the interviewer with your questions. But yeah, I would personally prefer a job with a sure income at least.
