I was a kid in the 70’s and 80’s, and that’s what was used before VCR’s became commonplace.

Only a digital one. I remember we still had them in grade school I miss the sound of them xD

Yes. Had a home video camera as a kid. Didn't last long but the doll has to be sent of to be developed. My father lived in a different state bought it for us to send him film.
Then the next time was one of those bulky vhs cameras.

I had one for years ! A Bell and Howell i think it was.

You know how these days there are endless places to get DVD through the post ? Same use to exist for movies for projectors !

A quick search online and i find there are still many for sale out there ! Some pretty cheap too !
