How often are you late to work because you want/need to sleep a little longer?

This morning I just wasn't ready to get up. I went to bed around 8:00 pm, woke up with a stomach ache at 1:00 am, and could not go back to sleep until around 3:00. My alarm goes off at 4:00 am. I sent a text indicating I will be late to work and I got there at 10:00. I normally arrive at 6:00. 馃槒

Few days a year, but I'll work from home those days. And I'm salaried not hourly so it doesn't matter as much.

A few times, when I've missed the bus and the cab took too long to come. But the cab took a long time because there was so much snow, so I was able to blame it on the snow, and many other people were late too.

Rarely, but it has happened. I just blame it on traffic or construction detours and I get by with that 馃槈

I was never late for work but I had such crappy jobs I often called in sick and was fired. I hated it so much I cried all night.

My mom was my boss and if you were any more than 8 minutes early you were late! As her child the thought of being late and dealing with mom rage kept me on time lol
