I've seen a lot of magazine ads where you buy basic pieces and some accessories and by mixing it up it looks like you are wearing a different outfit every day.
Work staples include:
Wool skirt
Black suit
Pinstriped oxford shirt
Black dress
Silk blouse
Gray trousers
Fitted jacket
Camisole
I also think you can't go wrong adding the classic trenchcoat.
Add a silk scarf or two, and by mixing the above with things you already own, you should do fine. Don't forget to shop at Salvation Army or Savers. You can get a lot for a little.

I have a variety of casual clothes that i just cycle through for work. Not actually a monday style, tuesday style etc. but i wash on the weekend then my wardrobe has a couple of pairs of jeans and my selection of t-shirts and i just pick whatever i feel like on the day.

@iamnikki Yeah that's understandable, but you could get yourself a couple of different outfit combinations and then use those as your work uniform, then just cycle through them each day etc?

@SW-User yea i guess so. Just feel like a uni would be better than wearing the same clothes all the time. If that makes any sense

@iamnikki Yes a uniform can be really convenient. I guess it comes down to whether there is an actual uniform available for your work. If so then go for it especially if others wear it. If not, then just make up your own from few different casual clothes.

No one will notice. And if saves you time, great idea!

What kind of uniform did you have to wear before ?

@iamnikki So you got a fancier job now and need to wear fancy clothes .

@SW-User no but I have a dress code. At My last job, I could wear any type of khaki or black pants, including jeggings, leggings (which i didn't wear). Could also wear black tshirt/ scoop neck. Cant wear stuff that casual now. Which is why i need new clothes. Or to create a "uniform" for myself
