If you have a long commute, have you ever gotten a hotel room on a night when the weather is bad?

We're getting an ice storm this evening so rather than do my commute which takes over an hour on a nice night, I splurged for a hotel room. I might even order room service! 😌

We have to do that here! It's not fun being stuck on the top of a mountain with no electricity. Ice is the worst.

I get them several times a year. I work for a big company in NYC and they'd rather have me there then risk me calling in. They pay for it.
