Why do you feel sad about leaving parents to go to college? You do know that the semesters only last 4 months right? If you aren't going very far, come home on the weekends.

@iamnikki I just have some separation anxiety issues. It completely slipped my mind I could come back home on weekends and holidays. Sorry for such a dumb story post.

There are some people who would feel that you would not be a burden to listen to. Talking about thing does help.
Also, you're going to college, you will see your parents again. I assume you will go back home for various holidays after all. Try not to worry so much about what will happen if you drop out. Instead focus on doing your best.
