I Am a Bit of a Hermit

I’ve grown so used to living on my own that it gets uncomfortable when I try to socialise with my own family. Kids are too loud, music is too loud, everything is just a tad too loud. They found it very normal. I don’t, and I yearn to run back to the comforting arms of solitude. ☹️

Overstimulation. That's understandable. We often don't notice our tolerance for such an environment decreases the longer periods we spend in solitude on the day to day.
