I Want to Move Out of My Parents House

my parents and i have the shittiest relationship ever and i knew as soon as my sister moved back in with us my parents wouldn't talk to me nearly half as much. and i was right. just a few minutes ago, my sister and i were in the living room and my mom came home and she went through the living and into her room then my sister left and my mom came back in and started talking about my grandma, then looked around and went oh and stopped talking altogether until my sister came back in. i just want to leave.

If you move to a place that has a relatively low cost of living you can just work at a part time job, pay rent, and buy groceries like its nothing. If you don't have a car there are places where walking or public transportation is the norm.

Use this site to figure out your options and goodluck!!

Move out as soon as you can. Use the situation to motivate you.

@jacithepanda...Trust me, I get it. It's always been like that in my family as well. I take consolation in the fact that my mother usually calls on my sister first whenever she has a problem too ;) LOL

lucyfuhr- maybe, but she does tell my sister a lot more than she tells me. i have to be with my mom when my sister's around to actually find out things

Well maybe knowing everything that goes on in your house could be a bad thing because well if you know about things you maybe be expected to help out.

kadnighost- no idea. my sister and my mom have always had a really close bond.

Is it at all possible your mother didn't want to repeat whatever she had to say about your Grandmother twice?

Aw. That's sad. Why doesn't your mom talk to you as much as your sister?
