This isn't the first time this has happened. last night, on my way home from work, an officer going in the opposite direction flashed the blue lights at me and then turned them off. I was a bit nervous when he/she did that, thinking I had done something wrong and was about to get pulled over for the first time. You should have seen my reaction, my hands were shaking and my face felt hot. I checked my speed to make sure I wasn't going fast, the speed limit was 55 but I was going half that because it was raining and my headlights weren't on bright so i'm like what gives? At first I thought, maybe the cop flashed his lights by accident but since this isn't the first time, I wonder why that happens. So I decided to do some research on the matter and some say that it's to warn drivers of their presence. But whatever it is, I think it's weird.

I recon it's more likely that he was trying to warn you that not having your headlight on when it's raining makes you a lot harder to see and therefore more dangerous to others. Here in the UK it's actually an offence not to have your lights on when it's raining.

Maybe because it was raining? 🤔 I would have been scared too!😯

@Peaches Idk. It was just the weirdest thing.
