I My Mom Died

Actually very few, many surrogate uncles though

My mom died when I was one and my dad tried but was working too much and only got to see him really late hours and weekends but got bounced around and babysat by everyone in the family lol but my aunt was the main caregiver when he was at work. Wanted to share and say hi. Just don't meet a lot of other people who grew up without a mom, a dad yes but not a mom. And that's the saying I use when people say sorry or ask if I miss her. I'm like how can I miss something I never knew?

I know a bit about what you are feeling. My dad died instead tho. Its really good to see people who lost so much (he lost the woman he loved) to raise you with the love of your mom also. :)

Glad he was able to focus his love on you as opposed to what many do of falling into depression and neglecting the life in front of them

Sadly many parents choose unconsciously to feed into the depression and neglect the kids, glad yours didn't

Trish ... sorry for your loss so young. Did you fulfill the role of wife for your dad in those earlier years?

You have a great dad ! I am sure you also have wonderful female role models in your life too.
