Every airplane that is certified to fly (that is, all of them, really) are built amazingly well... Excepts perhaps Russian and Chinese airplanes, somehow... But if you're flying in North America or Western Europe is very unlikely you'll be in a Russian or Chinese airplane, it's probably a Boeing or an Airbus (if it's a jet airliner), that's state of the art...

I ve been in airplane once, i bit afraid too, but then i realize there is nothing to worry about.

@dreamaway: Haha, yes, I thinks that's the main reason people fear flying: they're constrained, they can't get out, a bit like claustrophobia I guess...

When you use the restroom, it's kinda satisfying if you know you are over an area you've had a bad time in or just don't like.
