Sorry guys, you made your bed, now you have to lie in it

You knew bullying a user by name is not allowed here. But you decided to have your fun because the person in question was someone who upset you in the past, and other people were doing it as well.

You knew this was escalated and that it would be reviewed by the admins.

You had plenty of time to back off or delete your comments.

You didn't and now you've been sanctioned.

It's happened to me too for way less.

I wasn't happy about it either, but I took my punishment, and tried to learn from it.

You should all do the same, especially the users who have been here awhile, KNOW its wrong but did it anyway.

I think sometimes people get carried away, they forget that the user is a real person with real feelings. I think fair enough to say that you blocked a user but to use the post to attack them is just bullying.

Did someone get banned for it?

@InOtterWords I blocked someone months ago - and they still talk about me to this day 🤣

No bans, no warnings... its just a good job that I can laugh because no one is going to be reporting another popular member unless they go nuclear.

@HootyTheNightOwl there was someone who would make a number of posts about me accusing me of all sorts, never once did I post about them, just carried on ignoring them.

@HootyTheNightOwl @InOtterWords I had someone make another account to get around my block and then suggest that I should kill myself on posts. That was a lot of fun. Ah, the good times.

@InOtterWords Yeah. It’s just mean and spiteful. There’s one user on here that I will hate until my dying day but when I see posts about them on here, I typically say that I have nothing to say. There’s no reason to spew more hate.

@SW-User I have feelings about people based on what they have done to me or people I care about but everyone is the hero of their own story and sometimes the full truth is more complicated than just my own perspective on it. Spewing hate on hate just makes the world that much of a colder place. I refuse to be party to it. It’s one thing to get mad momentarily in the heat of the moment. Premeditated hatred is different.
