I Love My Parents
So.....the meal went well...
I had cooked the spinach and mushroom curry. The wild rice, home made the naan's as well. Mum doesn't mind a beer or two, so got in some Cobra Beers....
They came in time and whilst all that was cooking I gave them a guided tour of the house - essentially I have quite a minimal house and furnishings, lots of space. I just go a little 'wild', for want of a better term, with one of my bedrooms turned into a gym/yoga studio, downstairs has some huge bookcases full of books, CD's and DVD's....and my huge Cinema Room.....
I think they were impressed. They complimented me on how clean it was....phew! They noticed! LOl!
We chatted whilst I cooked, we are in the dining room. Very informal, I know. They enjoyed the food and then we flipped down in the cinema room, tv on low, and just relaxed and chatted.
....as usual, mum always has a thing to say about my smoking but, hey! I AM 22, y'know? She tolerates it.
Ice Cream, thanks to my wonderful ice cream maker, is the final treat....and a few more beers...well....I had wine! Lol!
Yes, it went great. They were ok and happy with how I live,happy that I have a roof over my head and, I guess, happy that my house isn't seedy....
The only silence was when mum asked me about my day and I told her about my monthly Check up, that's what my pimp has all her hookers to have before we can work, but I quickly changed the subject...
