Runs in my family and guess who's the chosen one

Let me preface this by saying days before this happened I was feeling lightheaded and was having breathing problems and just shrugged it off.

Last year I had a heart attack. I was out with a friend and I began to feel off. I shook it off and continued walking around with my friend. The off feeling kept intensifying and I couldn't keep shrugging it off. Long story short an ambulance got called and it's a good thing my friend was with me or else I would have died. If I had waited any longer I would not be typing this right now. Got a stint put in and now I have to take a bunch of different meds and go to regular appointments to monitor my crap. I guess I do have another blockage but the doctor says it's not bad enough to do anything about yet so he's monitoring it.

But even if you had gone to the doctors they would likely nit take it seriously because those are common symptoms to a lot of ailments.

@Spoiledbrat Yeah that's why I kept ignoring it because a lot of those symptoms could mean less serious things. If I had gone in prior to it happening they would have just told me to drink water and scram.
Yes. This is why I’ve become a good advocate for myself. And I’ve had to learn to able to listen to my body. I don’t know if that makes sense but I think we know when something is nt right with our bodies at least most of the times. It’s a good thing you’re okay. @BeastK
Good grief and you're so young. Glad you are on top of things though.

@Grateful4you They still keep trying to get me to quit smoking and drinking but I'm not doing it.
@BeastK I know what you mean, I don't drink much but admit my smoking IS problematic and I know it.
