I "Got The Belt" As A Kid
I still get it, just got it yesterday for a bad grade. It hurts really bad but the cane is much worse!

I also tried to oppose when I was 8 yo, refusing to bare my butt. I got some smarting lashes on my bare legs that quickly made me to understand that better I obeyed for taking the belt on the bottom, which is less painful :)
