I Need Your Opinions Or Feedback

So im in college in the UK and want to go to university after. I just have no idea what to do. Not to brag or anything, but I feel like, with subjects, I can achieve with anything as long as it's taught to me. I want the highest paid job possible, and therefore want a subject to choose that will allow me to get it. Any suggestions?

I've thought a bit more about the subject since my last post to you, princess. I thought of Dr. Campbell's exhortation to "follow your passion" and then thought "but what if what you are passionate about... you suck at... skill wise?" or "what if it's a dead end?" regarding making the kind of money you need to care for your family.

I am leaning towards a compromise between passion and pragmatism. The best match to living a fulfilled life might begin with being able to assess realistically what you are really good at versus activities where you can only be a dilettante at best. For example I excel at math and science, in fact, the skill got me a full scholarship at a major university here in the U.S. I'm also a pretty good fiddle player, dancer, and singer....but I know I'm no Mozart nor can I begin to compete with those remarkable people you see winning those "A Star is Born" talent shows. Good enough for being in the chorus line at community theater and playing in my dad's bluegrass band....but that's about it.

Where the confusion lies is that I really do have more "fun" being a cheerleader and sawing away at my fiddle at a dance....but it's a hobby. And I'm glad to have them because they do a great job at letting off steam from cracking the books 50 hours a week.

I'm learning to appreciate more and more my fascination for studying complex engineering problems....and eventually becoming part of a solution. There's not a lot of whoop factor here....but once I'm intrigued with a problem....I'm on it like a bulldog on sirloin bone. I relish it!
