Yes, my car has [b]OnStar[/b] and it's one of the features.

Sort of... it doesn’t have built in GPS or Apple CarPlay or Android Auto... but it has a Magellan Navi App
And it has Subaru STARLINK in case Emergency vehicles need to find me.

I have an unregistered window mounted unit from a yard sale. I wouldn't buy a vehicle with a tracking chip.

I suppose it amounts to the same thing, but I have a TomTom sat-nav. (Or "sat nag" as a friend calls it.)

It's not built in, and I do not put it in the car until I need it; usually for a rare journey to somewhere unfamiliar.

I also have an AA Road Atlas and sometimes prepare from that a route-card of towns and road numbers in big letters, and lay it on the dashboard or clip it to the sun-visor so I can read it at a glance !
