I just discovered a new yummy delicious treat.

I don't know what you'd call it, but it is simply delicious.

Start with a RootBeer float. Use lost of ice cream.
Drink all the RootBeer and then leave the rest of the ice cream in the glass to get melty.
Go back to the fridge and pour more RootBeer into the melty ice cream and eat the resulting froth.
It's thicker that the froth that first results when pouring pop over ice cream, but not as thick as mousse.

I imagine it would be just as good with whatever soft drink you like. So good. I've never done that before. I always just eat the ice cream when the soft drink is gone.
