D'éirigh thar barr liom ar scoil a bheith an-cheoil agus nádúrtha le huirlisí sreanga.
I first learnt the violin and harp before finding I have a natural altitude for mandolin and acoustic guitar, to electric guitar. In fact I love electric guitar! I spent lots of time in the music department, which added inspiration to my younger life.
A natural progression was to get involved in the folk music vibe in the area, and then nationally in the pubs all over the country and away in England with the ex-pat community and the pub chains that embarked on a new market venture thirty years or so ago.
So, with the group I got involved with there was the opportunity of being a little avant garde on imagery as a folk band. I have wacky costume ideas, and designs. My fellow band members accept these despite my not being the singing lead in any way!
