I always loved Jazz!

When I began in secondary I started to learn clarinet. I learnt right the way through school and did grade 6. It was mostly classical and I played in the school orchestra and in the community orchestra. It practised on Wednesday nights after our school practice. One of our teachers who also played clarinet (and I had a serious crush on at the time!) used to buy food for us between the two practices. I'm pretty sure he paid for it himself! Because I'm diabetic he used to get me sandwiches. The other kids had buns.
But I digress! Where did these posh words come from? I quickly got to love playing jazz. I'm no good at it but I love it. The Radio 3 prog J to Z is on just now. Jazz prog on a Saturday afternoon. Never miss it!

I'm a jazz fan too. Loved it pretty much my whole life.

@Rutterman I love jazz. It's really what makes me me! My teacher at college was so surprised. We were just having a tutorial and we opened up about music. He and guitar and me and clarinet.
