Happy Birthday to meeee

My birthday will be over in an hour....Today I turned 40!!! Got some bad news today my mother in law is asleep before she dies. She won’t be waking up again. She is in palative care and on meds to make her comfortable. Plus I couldn’t sleep last night and I caught a cold on my birthday! So I canceled seeing anyone today! My daughter who is 16 grieved deeply for her Grandma. It wasn’t a very good birthday it had some good things but I couldn’t even blow out my candles because I am sick!
