Yes. The solution is to put some distance between you and that person. If you can't talk to them intimately then there's probably a good reason and you shouldn't indulge feelings that not only lead to nowhere but can complicate your life needlessly.

Yeah, pretty recently actually. I like them as a friend and they like me on a more deeper level, but I just can't be intimate with them or even close to it.
