I Want To Forgive And Forget

If I was a victim vessel of a demon and was forced to sin, and I wish for nothing but for him to understand that and forgive me, than shouldn't it go both ways, that I've been taught and recognize that he too was an unwitting vessel of satan who continiously hurt me in anger and frustration and by being deceived, which I do understand....Shouldn't I forgive him as well? Then why am I still angry with him? And continue to recall all of his mistakes? I just want to forget, and move on.
