@Vetrov that's so cool you got to experience one you'll never forget. Not quite the same secondhand but I would do that too if it wasn't in my sky
Heh wish I could come to

@Teggy well come on over! All geeks welcome

I have no such luck... I'm the only geek around... I'll be all by myself watching it, no moon phase eclipse cookies for me :(
Rootstoblossom · 46-50, F
@drymer the only geek around, sadder words have never been heard
drymer · 56-60, M
Indeed... My daughter was texting in her room while I was out checking the eclipse... She couldn't care less...

@drymer seriously? So sorry. My kids all inherited my geekiness and were out there checking the progression every 10 minutes just like me

It has begun, it's so cool, like someone took a bite out of it. Doing my happy geek dance with cardboard sunglasses on 😎

Are you in a good location to see it?
Rootstoblossom · 46-50, F
@NewKidInTown pretty good. We can't get to path of totality but should be like 80-90% coverage. But I have a curse of cloud cover for every celestial event in past decade, keep missing meteor showers and such

@Rootstoblossom Good luck! The next one is only 99 years away...
