I Love Nature

It's a beautiful day! Just got back with a load of wood. There are ladybugs everywhere! The air is filled with them flying around. By the end of the day, they WILL find their way in the house. So many already inside most of the windows.

My understanding is the Red ones with black spots are the natives...docile pretty little creatures. The off color, tan/orange ones are the Asian variety. Whether they were stowaways or introduced (no one would admit to introducing them once the problems began but they used to sell them to aid in organic gardening). Oh yeah, the import variety bite too.

@bowman81 yup, I read up on them too. We have red ones and the tan/orange ones. Come one come all!
I lived in Pennsylvania until a few years ago, and I lived through many ladybug plagues. The channels of sliding doors and windows, the tat tat tat of their wings under lamp shades, the unpleasant wriggling of them under clothing ...

With lady bugs do you mean ladybirds ? The red ones with black spots ?
SW-User
@Mamapolo2016 I like that ! Do they have enough leg room ?
Unlike human passengers, whom nobody cares a fig about, of course. No cramped ladybug legs on Italian Skies Airline.@SW-User
