I Was Smacked At Primary School

As most of our teachers had been through the war they had little sympathy with misbehaviour. Hence a good smacked bum was not uncommon if we were naughty. Funny how it never did anyone any harm either!

I was smacked on the bottom at Primary School, especially by older female teachers. Three in particular smacked over the knee. My Primary School Headmaster used an old leather slipper across the bottom as well.

One teacher with a firm hand easily kept order in a class of 40+ and we were in more trouble at home if mum found out.

@jackcros that's so true in my case I would be over the kitchen table and dad would be using the strap on my bottom

Not only did it not do any harm, I am sure it helped a lot...some REAL incentive not to misbehave.
