I Need to Let Go

Sometimes I don't know what the hell I was thinking. I tried to recapture what there was before, I guess. But that's impossible, isn't it? The attempt is causing me some grief now. I should have just left well enough alone. I can stop now, and I should, before my memories of something that was good turn sour.
