I Have No Words...
I have no words is what my sister's husband said to her when he heard that his son committed suicide last night.
I truly had no words to say to her when she told me the news. I wish I did but I didn't.
I received a text from my sister last while at work saying that her husband got some sad news, asking me if I could call her. My immediate thought was that it was his brother, who lives next door to him because he has been battling cancer, he was diagnosed a few months ago. It wasn't his brother but it was regarding his son.
I am saddened and heartbroken because I've never heard such sadness in my sister's voice as I did tonight. She was devastated, heartbroken and speechless!
I wanted to leave work to be there for her, but I couldn't and I carried on with the rest of my shift trying to hold back all my tears.
I wondered how to tell my kids because they were so close. He was only 22 years old, how does this happen!!!
