LBB16, I feel so much empathy for your friend...I was not in quite the same situation as she is, but I did live with a man who beat me....for two years...I was so afraid to leave him , b/c he always told me that if I ever left, he would hunt me down and kill me. The only way I got away from him was that he went to jail..and by the time he got out , I had my 2nd hubby to protect me. I pray that she finds a safe way out of that hell!!!!
I think that the way you handle helping her is just the right tack..help her and the kids, without letting him take it..very smart move, sweety!!

Its ok I never did that when I was at dairy queen but I live to far away from there now plus he made me stop working there when I had a bad seizure infront of all the customers I think it mainly freaked him out that all he could do was stand there and stair while a customer got back there and held me down.That night before I got off work he pulled me aside said he was sorry to see me go but I have to because if that customer wasnt there for me hes afriad that I could have got hurt worse than a hanged up head and cut cheek he was my first boss but we really got along great

I just never understood it.She wanted to watch a war movie and I made a comment I wish I never made now and she made me watch that episode I cant help but laugh about her reaction she made llike a squeeky scream and said I was to sit there and watch it as many times as it took to realize how wrong I was for saying that it didnt even take one time for me to be mad at myself for what I said because it gfoes into detail of a soldiers life and in the middle he dies trying to take water and food by jet to people I may be a boy but I cried like a baby.

I know the mom tries her best though so I dont think bad of her there has been times shes called me crying saying she doesnt know what to do the dad took her mommy and bought a game system while she was sleeping and then she has no diapers or milk left and I share with her but dont give her money because he will take it he went as far as to sell his kids toys cloths and cribs for money shes all the time crying to me about something I told her leave him I may not be their dad but I will help and be in their life but she is to scared of what he will do to her if she leaves him

My boss told me when he threw Lexys birthday party that even though we dont always get along I always show him respect except 1 time and that if I keep iyt up when him and his wife dies hes leaveing me and Lexy the farm well he said the farm to me and a pony for each of my kids and a dog that he has for Lexy Its sad to think about that but it was nice of him to say that especially when he has 3 sons and a daughter of his own that he could leave it to but he says they are lazy SOBs thats mean but thats what he said about his kids

So sorry to hear that , LBB16!! Is your new boss not so understanding? Maybe you'll get more comfortable with it the longer you're there.....I hope so anyway. I know that it's not something that you can control..it must be a real struggle for you everyday.....I know that it is for Allenw. It only makes me respect the both of you even more for fighting it and doing what you must anyway!!!

Yeah I would rather start now than be like my friend's boyfriend is with their kids he sits and smokes plays violent games and cusses every one of their kids cuss its wrong He wont even cook for them like when we went to her appointment for an ultrasound we came back the youngest was covered in flower eggs was broken he had a pill bottle in his mouth and the dad was playing resident evil

I am polite because I enjoy haveing teeth and being able to sit comfortable plus I dont like being mean out of my 2 years being online I was only mean 2 times and still mad at myself for that and I try to always be responsible because I want my kids to know their dad loves them and never doubt that and hopefully they will grow up responsible.

My new boss is going through alot he lost a daughter to cancer last year she left behind 2 kids but their father wont let them see their grandpa and now his wife has cancer he has 4 sons that do whatever they want whenever they want and he feels they are to old to be corrected hes struggleing and hes old he ust makes me really nervous hes always cranky with good reason though

Yeah, a lot of boys are raised that way and a lot of people still hold that opinion...but that doesn't make it right!! Keep on doing what you're doing...everything will be fine...you have a good sense of what's right and wrong!!

LBB, nothing wrong with shedding tears when something is sad...Allenw is 45 and still cries when the occasion calls for it. Never be ashamed of being a sensitive man. It's a testament to your strenght of character!!

I know them the boys are 17 and steal from him and his wife and the girl has crashed 4 cars and has been irresponsible enough to have kids and not take care of them he ends up with them while she sits on her but watching tv or goes to a party

I have only saw 7th heaven once my soon to be sister inlaw made me watch it because I made a stupid comment about something and since it was based on that she made me watch it. I now have more respect than I ever did for soldiers.

Yeah my doctors always tell me if I dont stop stressing I will end up being buried way before I shoulod have been I cant hrelp it though I never asked to be a very nervous person.

Nothing wrong with watching it...I just never got into it....yup...I also have the utmost respect for military personel...both my dad and Allenw's dad are Air Force veterans.

The way I see it is you have to give respect to get respect so I will be the first to give it even if they was rude to me and maybe eventually they will respect me.

I stress out so bad on the way to work daily that I get sick 3 times on the way and I get suick while Im at work and for like 30 minutes to 3 hours after work
