I'd Like to Travel

So I work at a preschool now. Over the summer I work there too because they have a summer care program. It's always crazy stressful over summer because there are way more kids. Plus I don't get paid very well at all.. Last summer a family asked if I'd want to watch their kids at their home over the summer and I'd be making like double what I was making at the school. I said no because I had already told my boss I'd work over summer.

I'm not really sure I want to work there this summer again though, especialy when there are so many more less stressful opportunities where I'd be making pretty decent money.

I used to want to be a nanny, but life kind of pointed me towards teaching. I've done like summer nannying sort of gigs before and really liked it.

I just don't know if I should do some sort of summer nannying job. I think it would be pretty cool to be a live-in summer nanny for someone who like lives in a different state or something because that would be a neat opportunity to travel and experience more. Since I can't really afford to just up and spend the summer somewhere else, this could be one way to go somewhere?

I don't know lol. I still have a while to decide, Just thought venting and maybe getting some opinions would be helpful xD

Sounds like a great way to spend your summer off. Hope you get the chance to do that.

Get your references together & be sure they’re solid. Browse some nanny websites. We’ve used them. Be spontaneous. We tried to find someone to accompany us to Disney for a week then a week on a secluded island. No luck.

Yes! A great idea! Why not find a family that will be traveling to someplace interesting? Like maybe HongKong or Paris, France....

Better money, travel, new experiences--I'd go for it!
