I Agree With 1950s Housewife Rules

A housewife was supposed to be obedient, submissive and respectful to her husband. And of course back then women wore only skirts and dresses.

Apron, high heels and dress are worn at all times, makeup is always applied, all portions eaten must be small, no burping, farting or using the restroom, and husband and children must always be made comfortable at all times.

I'd guess it would resemble traditional male female roles with male head of household decision making

To LOVE, HONOR and OBEY.
Older wedding vows always included this line.

As my mother used to say " a good wife should be barefooted and pregnant " ...

I have always had an interesting the idea of a 1950's lifestyle.

Must wear dress and pearls while cleaning.
