I Wont Be Defeated
There's some graffiti on my bus route to school, that says in bright red letters "Before I die, I want to... NEVER GIVE UP."
I can feel a bit of burnout coming soon, because I've been working pretty hard for college and I'm not sure how long I can cope with it and everything else in my life at once. Yet, every time I see that graffiti, it gives me a boost of energy. Even if I'm tired, I smile as I pass it and walk energetically to my next stop. It makes me think that no matter how many challenges I have to face, I just have to keep moving forward. It gives me hope, and I'm grateful to whoever spray painted it there. I'll fight hard.
