I lost my dad when I was 16. I can't imagine losing both at the same time- although I was left stranded in an unfamiliar country with just my mom to rely on.

YOU KNOW SOMETIMES THE ONLY THING THAT CAN HEAL PAIN OF A TRAGEDY IS JUST THE TIME. IF YOU REALLY CAN'T DO IT FOR NOW DON'T PUSH YOURSELF BUT ALSO ONE DAY YOU HAVE TO FACE THOSE FEARS, AND I HOPE THAT WHEN THAT DAY COMES YOU ARE ALREADY HEALED AND MUCH MORE STRONGER TO FACE IT.

That is a tough story, a serious loss. You are strong, and I am so glad you found work you are good at.

Yes, you CAN drive a car, and you need to know how. Find a good driving school and ask for an instructor sensitive to new and nervous drivers.

Sometimes all it takes is the kindness and intervention of one person to turn someone's life around, and I am so glad someone did this for you. Now you are helping others too.

I think, in the Netherlands, life without a car is quite manageable? (so many american cities, it's almost impossible to live without a car, or at least excessively timeconsuming and expensive).
