AT LONG LAST .THE BBC HAS JUST ANNOUNCED THE UK GOVERNMENT ARE SITTING RIGHT NOW TO PASS LAWS TODAY GIVING NEW LAWS TO POLICE .THEIR ALSO CLOSING PARKS OPEN SPACES AND NON ESSENTIAL SHOPS ETC ABOUT TIME .

Good to hear. I was terrified when the news said the UK government is not taking the present catastrophe seriously. Incredible ignorance it was.

@helenS They told the bbc that the uk public has forced their hand because they are refusing to heed government advice .

@Rhodesianman Hahaha, they certainly did... apparently, closing workplaces and schools was a good time to do whatever the hell they wanted as far as vacations and trips out go... 🤷‍♀️ 🤣

Seriously, it was a good idea at the wrong time for me. Once I'm safely isolated, I don't care what risks they take!!!
