I Realized Something

I sometimes forget the questions that I want to ask after an interview is over.

I just realized that when they ask " do you have any questions" the interview is officially over which means I can pull out an entire notebook with my questions about the job...

I mean i know you cant have notes on the table while interviewing, but I should be able to whip out a notebook with my questions about the job. Since that means I've done my research...

Have you ever done this?
Consider glancing at your notes if you need to and then close the notebook.

That way you will come across as more engaged with the interviewer and more spontaneous, more 'in the moment.'

@Mamapolo2016 right, I'm not gonna have my nose in the notebook, reading it word for word. Glace at it, then look at them and read the question... Because I'm stressed about it. She called and told me I got the job Friday . She asked if I wanted to go ahead and put in my two weeks notice. I have so many questions so i have not put in my notice...

I didn't have a notebook with questions usually. But I did have a lot of questions. I wanted to know if the company was a good company to work for etc., and asked a few questions about the company and the particular position I applied for. I usually got the jobs.

@Carazaa Right, so do I . Problem is, I forget what I want to ask.. Like now, I got offered the position and don't know the details of what I'll be doing, the work environment, the exact pay etc.

@rosyhills I would ask if you could have a few days to think about your decision. And also ask what is the pay, and job description. And if possible to email it to you. Then I would do some research what people have said about the company, employees, customer satisfaction etc. And ask God for wisdom what to do of course.

@Carazaa Right, I've done so. I have to talk to her Monday. And I will ask how long I have to decide. I prayed about a job that was fitting and this is the first thing that has come. I have to remember that it is also just a job offer
Thank you for responding to me🙂

That might be a bit overkill. I ask no more than two questions.

@SW-User Thank you for your response. I've had nothing but crap jobs thus far, and I KNOW that part of it was my lack of asking detailed questions, so hence my post...

@rosyhills

Rule #1 don’t trust managers.

Rule #2: if you can’t figure out what your daily job would like like from the people in the room. Get more people in the room or don’t take the job.

@SW-User Right, like for example, this manger told me I wouldn't have to periodically transport the homeless patients in my car if they needed it. But it's in the job description...
