Kind of Surprise people are still spending 50 dollars for a ppv

I read about the match with floyd mayweather vs logan paul. I'm really surprised that they are still making people spend 50 dollar's for the ppv. Kind of like the wwe ppvs I would never spend 50 dollar's for a ppv. That is why I'm happy with the wwe network. Why haven't they did something like that with other sport's.
