It's a shame the USA haven't qualified and it's a shock. Though it says sonething for the growth of your game in the last thirty years that it is a shock for you to miss out.

I remember a few years ago when the American team was actually doing well, a guy at work came in and said "Can you believe team America beat team Mexico? We have a real shot this year!" And I just smiled and nodded, unaware until then that America even had an international football team.
