I Graduated From High School

I graduated in 2013, so not too long ago. I still remember my favorite teacher. Mr. G originally wanted to be a stand-up comedian, but it didn't pay the bills, so he became a teacher since he had a wife and kids. He was my 11th grade English teacher, but I thought he was so great that I became his TA the following year. Nearly every day, he told us a story from his life. He had a ridiculously good memory, so his stories were always so detailed. And of course, he was always finding ways to make the whole class laugh. He was quite possibly the most popular teacher in the high school. On graduation day, some teachers prepared short speeches for the senior slide show, and when Mr. G appeared on the screen, all us seniors started cheering.
I've been thinking about visiting him now that I'm back in town. I'll even wear a button-up shirt and a tie since that's what he always wore to class. Actually, he still dresses like that to class every day. I know this because I became Facebook friends with him! 馃槃

That's so cool! I graduated May 2016. But my favorite teacher will always be Mrs. S. She was my eighth grade Reading teacher, and pretty much everyone's favorite teacher overall. She won several awards for Teacher of the Year out of our entire state. I got to see her my senior year of high school because my Media class was making our senior slideshow, and we wanted it to begin with our middle school teachers telling us that they missed up and stuff like that. So I got to go to my old middle school and record her and it was awesome getting to see her again. She was always so bubbly and she loved helping people with both their academic and personal problems. It was great.

Mr. E taught me how to write properly, for that I'll always be grateful.

That calibre of teacher is rare and precious.

I'm not sure how that relates to my story about a high school teacher, but that's good to know :)
