I Won't Lie to You

I think it's fair to claim that if I say something involving my inner world, you can assume it is true and well thought-out in advance. If I seem blunt, direct, indiscreet or tactless, I'm just trying to get to the heart of the matter. I don't dance around issues. It's just an efficient way of communicating. Transferring what is my mind into yours as accurately as I can.

I don't really shoot from the hip much. Nor do I pull punches. Not everyone's cup of tea, but at least you know where I (and you) stand.

At least that's my impression of my approach to communication. If any of you who know me intimately believe otherwise, feel free to correct my self-image. I am a little close to the subject, and may be missing something.
