Physical media is pretty much always the way to go. There's just something special about having a tangible version.

What I do is read or listen to a book digitally if its new to me, only if I like it enough and want to add it to my personal library will I then buy a copy. It's helped me not buy books that aren't going to stay with me. I agree though, I adore my physical books, especially my antique ones

I dont like too many books on a shelf because it can look disorganized. Digital is more convenient but something about turning the page of a real book is just makes me more in touch with the book
