I Worry About The Intelligence Of Our General Population

Why do so many people on here ask such horrible, incomplete and open ended questions like "why did I do that" or "what did you think would happen" and then never explain Wth they're talking about?? Is it just due to the horrible state of education today, mental laziness or a total lack of awareness of how confusing they're being?
I find it very aggravating.
What's your opinion on it?

I think you'll find that it's mostly the younger set who do that.

My theory is, they have grown up with texting as a way of life. They've been in the habit of saying so much in text form, that most of them can follow several different conversations at once. Maybe two days before they had a convo with someone. They pick it up where they left off, with a question like "well, what do you want to do about it?" So they come to a site like this and they expect total strangers to have an answer to a question that has no background info. I like to give answers that have nothing to do with the question.

That's just my theory. Probably completely wrong. But it makes as much sense as an open ended question like Why did I do that?.
