From role model calling for poor children to be guarenteed at least one meal a day to vilan for missing a penalty
What really gets to me (other than the blatant racism) is that if he had committed a crime like domestic abuse but went on to score the winning penalty, the very people who did this would be making excuses for him now and blaming it on his wife/girlfriend.
Our notion of what's important and what defines someone is really messed up.

I've always thought it would be fun to hold a 'sore losers' tournament and let them show how well they'd do against players they're so quick to despise.
It was vandalised...it shouldn't be...end of story on that one...
However, the fights and the vandalism and the racial slurs against a team that have put their hearts and souls into playing for their nation.....that makes me very sad and upset.
You could point it down to high spirits....or alcohol related....but I just see it as nasty fuckers just following the herd...without a braincell between them.

Honestly, If I was PM I'd have no question about putting them up against the wall and pulling the trigger...

Somebody wrote the word f*** on the mural. They were probably very annoyed about the fact he missed a penalty. There was no reference to his colour or his ethnicity. I don't see how this graffiti could be construed as being racist.
@Glossy I don't know what the graffiti said word for word but I'm sure if that was all there was to it then this wouldn't be the response.

@EuphoricTurtle Racism is bad enough without people making things up. I saw the graffiti before it was covered up and there was no racist element in it.
