I was never lucky enough to have a good relationship with my sister. She hated me from the second I was born because I had the audacity to be female.
Four years ago when she was thirty-eight years old my niece was born & things started to change in my sister's mind. She understood better that none of the things that happened when we were young were my fault. She apologised.
Today she sent me this song. Not gonna lie, it made me cry. I've never really heard these words from her before.
