As bad is the girl wearing leggings. We'd never have been allowed to cover our legs like that and if we didn't have our gym knickers we simply had to do it in our underwear knickers.
We had to wear plain white pants, so it wasn't embarrassing in that respect. I was at boarding school, so we couldn't get away with non-regulation knickers, but the day girls could - unless they forgot their PE kit, or we had an impromptu PE lesson!
@lcclinton4 And at least you weren't the only girl running around in her white pants! It must have been frustrating when this happened at boarding school, knowing that your PE clothes were in your room or in the wash, but still having to do PE in your underwear 😥
Extremely bad example but the exact same thing happened in my school. We were all expected to remove shoes and socks before entering the gym while any teacher could just wander in with any type of footwear.
Wouldn't you have thought someone as important would have been asked to take her shoes off before entering the gym? The girls wouldn't be allowed to wear plimsolls or trainers.
@GentleLucille I agree no one should have outdoor shoes on in the gym, don't you think the minister could have been told this? I'm sure she would have been all too happy to comply.
